It's been a while, I know...
On 6th of October, me and my now husband Mark got married. I will change my dA-ID soon into one of my favorite pics from our wedding day.
The day itself was wonderful. I went back to my parents - it's an old tradition in the Netherlands and maybe also in other countries, but that was not the reason for me. We married in a different city, one that was close to where my parents live.
The morning was rainy and lots of bad weather. But luckily, we would be going at noon. Loved my make-up and hair. My hairdresser is a wonderful woman, with lots of fun and loved to help also the other women with their hair.
So in the afternoon, he picked me up in a wonderful old car. We did some pics in the afternoon and had dinner with the ones we dearly love. After that, we got married.
In the night we had a big party with our friends and family. With a wonderful band and the biggest surprise for us was the fact that almost everyone was dressed the way we asked them to; Steampunk.
We danced our first dance to the song Caledonia. It's not your typical love song, but we are no typical couple. We loved it and it was played by a band of family/friends. His best friends on the guitar and my sis-in-law with a wonderful voice who did the singing part.
Since our wedding, not much have changed. We are both really busy with working and hopefully we can make some money so we can buy a house.
My hubby's birthday is soon and I'm trying to change the pics every night. (or more after a few nights) The old pics were pics I once placed at the beginning of our relationship and now I am changing them to pics of our wedding day. Not only us but also friends and family. I placed a pic of what I've done so far on dA. This Wednesday night I will place the final look.
Hopefully, some day, I might have the time to write something again. But I don't see it really happening real soon...
Lots of love,
Eszie

My life...
I think I'll start doing yearly journal updates now. I try to go to dA more often, but somehow, it's slips my mind to do so. So, how's life for me? It's actually not that exciting. Of course, things do happen, but ever since I got a good job, I don't even have the time to do exciting stuff. I still have the same job I had since 3,5 years. (almost 4) I love my team, I love my work and it pays alright. Every now and then I get the chance to do something along side my main job. Last year, it was making the schedules for my colleagues (and they loved me for it to be honest) I learned to take my credits, as you can see. Nowadays, I help out on the event side. A temp job, but it was a nice way to see if I liked to do it and if I might want to persue this side of coorperation. (not very sure yet) My marriage is going well. Married for 5 years now and still growing strong. We have a son of 2 years now and that's going okay as well. That's actually it... My hobbies... Well... I do write
New project
A few years ago, I posted a two-parted story on dA of my other passion. Suske & Wiske albums have been a passion of mine since I was a young girl. And I still love their stories. Seven years ago, I started a project in Dutch on blogger and now I decided to place it here as well. I didn't have much time those last years to write on both TSS and Suske & Wiske, but I still love to write, both in Dutch and English. Like said before, I will not abandon my The Secret Show projects, but I notice that life is taking a toll on my hobbies. Just now, I have the feeling that I can do things again that I did before. Still a little bit tired of stuff, things are going the right way. I finally have some energy to finish my newest version of I'm here for you and I am working up the energy to start a new TSS project. But in the maintime, I want to post my other project as well. It will stay in Dutch, but it will give me an oppertunity to update the stories I have posted online all those last
DnD Character
I Am A: Neutral Good Human Rogue (5th Level) Ability Scores: Strength-13 Dexterity-15 Constitution-15 Intelligence-14 Wisdom-16 Charisma-12 Alignment:Neutral Good A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable. Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like. Class: Rogues have little in common with each other. While some - maybe even the majority - are stealthy thieves, many serve as scouts, spies
My life
It has been a year since the last time I even logged in. There is basically no time for dA right now. I'm nog going to say that my life is difficult, I think it's going okay. And calling this life difficult doesn't feel right. At this moment, I've been married for 4 years (at the end of this year 5), turned 30 last year and have a boy of the age of 1 year now. I have a wonderful job with wonderful people. I really, really, really can't complain. I love my coworkers, more about them later. First relationship. My hubby and I are together for almost 9 years now. Hitting that 10 year mark next year!!!! Time flies! Asked me to marry him on Dec. 27th in 2015, got married at Oct. 6th 2017 (Easy to remember) With the relationship comes the question of kids. We wanted, he more than me, and at the 24th of Dec. 2020 we got one, Owen. He is cute and charming. But I am not going to lie! It is hard sometimes! I know I'm not mentally made to be a stay-at-home mom. I just need to do something
