Chapter one

A little house, not far from the U.Z.Z. base, was the home of an U.Z.Z. agent family. Anita was in her kitchen. It was almost dinnertime, so she was busy with making dinner. “Hey, Anita, what’s for dinner?” Victor walked into the kitchen and he looked to Anita. “It smells good.”

“It’s something vegetarian.” Anita turned around and she looked to Victor.

Victor placed his arms around Anita’s waist and he looked into her eyes.  “You’re a true sweetheart.” he said.

“I’m making vegetarian dinners for more than eleven years.” Anita said and she looked to Victor. “Well, if you don’t mind, I would like to finish dinner before it burns on.”

“And what if I do mind?” Victor said and he held Anita closer to him.

“Don’t forget I know a lot of fighting sports, so I can easily kick you out of my kitchen.”

“You’re kitchen? Since when isn’t it ‘our kitchen’ anymore?”

“Since I’m cooking dinner for tonight.” Anita looked to Victor. “And if you are hungry, you should let me go right now and set the table.”

Victor laughed. “Alright.” he let Anita go and he gave Anita a kiss on her lips. “Did I already say that I love you?”

“Not for a few minutes, no.” Anita chuckled and Victor smiled.

“I love you.” and Victor gave Anita another long, romantic kiss.

A young boy walked into the kitchen, but he didn’t noticed it that his parents were kissing. “Mom, dad, where is…” the boy looked up and he saw his parents kissing. “Eww.”

Victor and Anita started to laugh. “What is it, Vincent?” Anita asked and she looked the boy.

“Never mind.” Vincent walked away again and Victor let Anita go.

“I’ll set the table with our son.” he said with a smile. “I love you.”

“Love you too.” Anita said and Victor gave her a little kiss on her lips before he left. “Dinner will be ready in ten.” she called after him and Victor gave her a thumps up, letting her know that he heard the message. Anita smiled and she looked into the dinner room where Vincent was helping Victor with setting the table.
Eleven years ago, Anita Knight and Victor Volt got married, one of her biggest moments of her life. And almost a year later, they got Vincent. Those days were both the most wonderful days of her live. She didn’t know if there would be more, but she knew that her life was already perfect with her two sweetest, most wonderful men.

A few blocks away from Victor and Anita’s house, walked a little girl into the kitchen. Sydney was busy with making dinner for her little family and she looked up when she saw her daughter walking up to her. “Mommy, have you seen Kratzer?”

“I’m sorry, Molly.” Sydney said and she looked to Molly. “Maybe he’s in your room, playing hide and seek with you.” she added with a smile.

“That could be it!” Molly rushed out of the kitchen and Sydney laughed a little bit.

“How about a ‘thank you’?” she called after Molly

“Thank you!” Sydney heard and Ray walked into the kitchen.

“Hey, hon.” he said and he gave Sydney a kiss on her cheek. “Hmmm, smells good.”

“Have you seen Kratzer?” Sydney asked to her husband and she looked to him.

“I think he’s under Molly’s blankets, were he always is. What are we having for dinner?” Ray tried to look into the pans.

“Something really tasty.” Sydney said and she looked back to her pans. “You look like you could get some exercise.”

“I can’t believe it that my own wife says something like this.” Ray said and he placed his arms around her waist. “And what makes you think that?” he whispered in her ear.

“Because you look like it.” Sydney looked to Ray, who placed his head on her shoulder. “Maybe you should go jogging after dinner.”

“Hm-hm, maybe I will.” Ray smiled a little bit. “I’ll see if I have some energy left to jog a little bit.”

“Mommy, daddy! I can’t find Kratzer!” sounded and Sydney looked to Ray.

“Go and help your daughter with finding Kratzer and set the table, would you?”

“How about a please and thank you first?” Ray teased Sydney a little bit and Sydney smiled.

“Please and thank you.” she said and Ray gave her a kiss on her lips. “Now go and help your daughter.” Ray walked away smiling and Sydney looked into the living room. She saw how he picked Molly up, apparently, she found Kratzer and now they were going to set the table.
Sydney Volt, being Victor’s cousin, loved to work for U.Z.Z. at the medical bay. Married for nine years with Ray, getting Molly a year later, she had the most wonderful life she could ever imagine. She couldn’t think a life without Molly, the most sweetest girl on earth. And a life without Ray wouldn’t be a life for her. They were both her sweethearts and nothing would ever change that feeling.

“Honey, we’re home!” Kent walked into a house, which was near a wonderful park where you could walk without thinking about things. It was pass dinnertime and he and his daughter just came back from walking their dog, Sparky.

“Hey, guys.” sounded and Jennifer walked up to them. “How was the park?”

“Really beautiful.” the little girl said with a smile and she looked to Jennifer. “Will you come and walk with me and Sparky tomorrow?”

“Sure, Canna.” Jennifer said and Canna walked away. Jennifer looked to Kent. “Are you going to help me with the dishes?”

“Sure, hon.” Kent said with a smile and they walked into the kitchen. “I thought you’d finished cleaning them.”

Jennifer smiled. “I would be, if the twins weren’t hungry.”

Kent smiled. “I see.” he said and they cleaned the dishes.

“She really enjoyed it, didn’t she?” Jennifer asked and Kent smiled.

“She really did.” he said and he put the clean dishes away. “Need some more help?”

“No, I’ll put these away and I’ll be in the living room in no time.”

“Alright, I’ll see if Canna wants to help me reading her favourite book.” Kent gave Jennifer a long kiss and he looked into her eyes. “I love you, sweetheart.”

“Love you too.” Jennifer said with a smile and she looked how Kent walked to Canna. Twelve years ago, Jennifer Kowalski and Kent Trusted got married. They got Canna a few years later. A few weeks after Canna was born, they discovered that she was blind. But Canna grew up as any other girl should and eight years later, she got two little sisters, twin sisters. Both the twins could see and that upset Canna a little bit. A few months ago, something strange happened. Canna was hit by the blind-ray from Professor Professor’s blind-machine and by amazing good fortune, Canna could see! Jennifer and Kent had never seen their girl so happy as back then. Ever since that, she wanted to explore every place where she had been once before and she wanted to learn about everything.
Jennifer smiled a little bit when she walked into the living room. Canna promised her father that she would teach him how to read Braille and he learned really quickly. Jennifer knew that her world would collapse if something terrible would happen to their little girl. But seeing her family like this, she knew nothing could happen to them. Someone had to be really evil to hurt this family.
